The Oviedo Police Department made a lot of noise when they escorted Santa Clause to the Oviedo Boys Town. Our Optimist Club cooked hotdogs for the children of Boys Town and their families and supplied gifts!
Oviedo Holiday Parade & Snow Mountain
The Junior Optimist Club created a float for the parade, which included Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus! The parade ended at Snow Mountain! This event was so huge! We set up a table and invited all to come and stamp a holiday-get well card for children at Arnold Palmer over the holidays. Everyone wanted to make a card and really enjoyed the thought of cheering someone up! Click here to see pictures!

More than 30 people gathered at our Optimist Club's Installation Banquet. New Officers were sworn in as well as our new Board! Buffet Dinner at the Country Club at Deer Run was fabulous! We enjoyed our Special Guest - Name - From Optimist International, officiated our evening. A very exciting speech by our new President, Philip S Kaprow Esq. gave us a big boost into our new year!
