We had a lot of compliments on our Optimist Chili!
It was a great event for a great cause!
We promoted the car show only two weeks away!

Santa Run Dec 19, 2011
We cooked hundreds of hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches as Santa rode in by motorcycle to Boys Town Oviedo. Our club sponsored the BBQ and some gifts as well.

Great Day in the Country November 12, 2011
Our booth was another huge success! Our Turkey Legs were a hot item, along with ribs and chicken dinners! It was a fun day, great weather and made money for the club!

Our Junior Optimist Banquet October 27, 2011
Our Junior Clubs all came together for a great night! We held an Induction Ceremony for new officers and recognition of achievments.

The City of Oviedo Haunted House October 28 & 29 2011
Our new Oviedo-Winter Springs Junior Optimist Club participated in the City of Oviedo's Haunted House by creating a space in the haunted house and becoming the Little Scary Clowns!

Members of our club were on hand to judge the amazing constumes at this great yearly event put on by the City of Oviedo.

Winter Springs Festival of the ARTS October 15 & 16 2011
Our booth was buzzing with activity! Visitors were invited to make GET WELL CARDS FOR ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL using stamps, crayons and markers. These were beautiful works of ART!

The local Junior Optimist Club united to hand out snacks and water at this wonderul event held at the Oviedo Mall.

New Junior Optimist Club
Meetings started in August with just a handful of members. Since then we have multiplied! We are now up to 18 members ranging in ages from 10 thru 16! We have a lot of Community Service Projects to plan! Come and join us!
